Singer, Turley Named All-Americans By College Baseball Foundation
June 25, 2025 | Baseball
OVERLAND PARK, Kansas – Oregon State second baseman AJ Singer and outfielder Gavin Turley have been named All-Americans by the College Baseball Foundation, which announced its team on Wednesday.
Singer becomes the fifth different Beaver to earn at least one All-American honor, joining Turley, Aiva Arquette, Wilson Weber and Ethan Kleinschmit. That ties the 2024 Beavers for the second-most in a single-season, two shy of the 2018 team which had a school-record seven players named All-Americans.
Turley's honor is his fourth of 2025. He was named a second-team selection by the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA), and a second-teamer by both Baseball America and the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA). He finished the 2025 season with a .351 batting average with 13 doubles, 20 home runs and 69 runs batted in.
He's just the third Beaver to reach the 20 home run plateau, joining Travis Bazzana (28 in 2024) and Jim Wilson (21 in 1982). Turley's 20 home runs ranked 24th nationally.
Singer, meanwhile, batted .312 in his first season in Corvallis. He added 10 doubles with three home runs, 39 RBI and a .409 on-base percentage. He excelled defensively, committing just two errors in 64 games to finish with a .992 fielding percentage.
He became the third Beaver to earn a Gold Glove Award when the ABCA announced its winners last week.
