Five Women’s Golfers Named WGCA All-American Scholars

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Clara Alevag, Rebecca Kim, Kyra Ly, Raya Nakao and Madde Sund were named All-American Scholars by the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) on Monday.
The criteria for selection to the WGCA All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics with the minimum cumulative GPA being a 3.50.
Sund was named a WGCA All-America Scholar for the fourth-straight year, while Ly made the prestigious list for the third-straight time, and Kim and Nakao were two-time selections.

The Women's Golf Coaches Association, founded in 1983, is a non-profit organization representing women's collegiate golf coaches. The WGCA was formed to encourage the playing of college golf for women in correlation with a general objective of education and in accordance with the highest tradition of intercollegiate competition.
