September 24, 2025 | Women's Soccer
MALIBU, Calif. – Mya Sanchez made six saves as Oregon State women's soccer fell, 6-0, to the Pepperdine Waves in Malibu.
Wednesday's performance was the latest in a strong run of performances for the Turlock, Calif., native, who earned Conference Defensive Player of the Week honors thanks to an eight save performance in a 1-1 draw at future Pac-12 opponent Fresno State on Saturday.
Kassidy Michael returned to the starting eleven and played 61 minutes while Nathalie Mejia finished with one shot on target in a season-high 54 minutes of action; Carly Carraher and Adele Schwab also found scoring opportunities on Wednesday but failed to convert.
The Beavs return to action at Loyola Marymount on Sunday before returning home to host Portland on Oct. 4.
