Daschle Lamer Named Pac-12 Wrestler Of The Week

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State's Daschle Lamer has been named the Pac-12 Conference's Wrestler of the Week, it was announced on Tuesday.
Lamer picks up the honor, the first of his career, after producing a pin at 174 pounds in the Beavers' 29-10 win over Little Rock on Friday. He was up 11-0 before earning the fall at the 4:26 mark of the bout. The pin marked his third of the season.
Lamer, who hails from Corvallis, improved to 16-2 on the year with the win.
He's the second Beaver to earn the honor this season, joining Maximo Renteria, who has been recognized three times.
Lamer and the Beavers visit Wyoming Saturday in a meet that gets underway at 2 p.m. PT. It can be watched live on the Mountain West Network.
