FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Oregon State volleyball dropped its match at Colorado State Saturday, winning the first set but falling in four to the Rams inside Moby Arena.

AC Froehlich led the attack with 12 kills, adding seven digs and two blocks, while Alana Marrs had 10 kills and four blocks. Taray Tela, Cheyenne Green and Taylor Treahy each totaled nine kills, with Green hitting .333 and Tela contributing three blocks.

Jackie Matias recorded her fifth double-double of the season with 38 assists and 14 digs, adding two blocks and two kills, while Isabel Bertelsen chipped in 13 digs, six assists and an ace.

Oregon State led early in a hotly contested first set, hitting north of .300 on its way to an extra points victory. Both teams held leads throughout and rattled off multiple runs, the Rams even holding set point at 24-22, but OSU leveled the match at 24 apiece on a Marrs block and won it on a Matias service ace, 26-24.

Late momentum wasn't enough in the second, as the Beavers once again went down 24-22 and brought it within a point on a Treahy kill at 23-24, but CSU scored out of a timeout to secure a set two win.

After Oregon State took a 2-0 lead to open the third, Colorado State rattled off a 9-0 run, riding it out to a 25-12 victory in the set.

The Beavers held the lead late in the fourth set, as a CSU attack error made it 21-18, but the Rams responded to take the set 25-23, winning the match.

Beaver Volleyball is on the road for its next two, playing Texas State and Fresno State, before returning home to host Utah State at 1 p.m. on Oct. 24.
