Beavers to Face Ducks at Moda Center
October 16, 2026 | Men's Basketball
CORVALLIS  – The Oregon State men's basketball team will face Oregon at Moda Center in Portland on Nov. 19 in the NES West Coast Classic, the teams announced on Friday.
Â
"We are excited to continue the tradition of the Oregon State vs. Oregon rivalry series with the 367th meeting in men's basketball," said Oregon State head coach Justin Joyner. "Playing this game is important for both fan bases, as we will continue a rivalry that dates back 1903 - the most played matchup in college basketball. We encourage all of Beaver Nation to put on their orange and black, fly their flags and make their way to Portland Nov. 19th and cheer on The Beavs!"
Â
The contest will mark Oregon State's first game at Moda Center since it took on Florida there on Nov. 25, 2022 as part of the PK Legacy Tournament. It will also be the first time the Beavers and Ducks have faced each other in a neutral site regular-season game since 1996 (also in Portland). Overall the two sides have met in the Rose City on 18 occasions.
Â
The most often contested rivalry in Division I Men's Basketball, Oregon State has played Oregon a total of 366 times in a series that dates back to 1903. Overall, the Beavers lead the all-time series 192-174. Oregon State's 192 wins over Oregon is tied for the second-most wins by any team in Division I basketball over a single opponent, trailing only Kansas' 204 victories over Kansas State.
