CORVALLIS – The Oregon State men's soccer team won the Pac-12 Regular Season Championship with a 2-0 victory over Gonzaga Saturday evening at Paul Lorenz Field.

With the win, the Beavers claim the title outright, along with the No. 1 seed in the conference tournament. It marks the second Pac-12 championship in program history, and Oregon State will now advance to host both rounds of the conference tournament, should it advance.

Wyatt Borso found the net twice as he moved into a tie for second on Oregon State's single-season list with 15 goals on the year.

The Beavers end the regular season with a record of 9-4-4, 4-1-1 in Pac-12 play.

Oregon State opened the match on the front-foot, and Evan Carlock forced a save in the 16^th minute as the Beavers put pressure on the Gonzaga net. Aiden Marquez forced a save in the 33^rd minute, as the Beavers turned up the pressure.

Borso came up with back-to-back goals, scoring in the 34^th and 36^th minute to put the Beavers up 2-0 heading to the break.

Tim Hoffman nearly brought the lead to three early in the second half, firing a shot that forced a diving stop from the Bulldog keeper. Borso nearly completed the hat trick with back-to-back shots on target in the 76^th minute, but both efforts were saved. The Beaver back line refused to budge, as Oregon State secured the victory.

John Nicolson held his fourth clean sheet of the season, making a pair of saves in the winning effort.

The Beavers will host a Pac-12 Semifinal on Sunday Nov. 8.
