Bryce Hubbard's first career home run sent the Beavers to a 5-4 walkoff over Michigan Monday. Hubbard took the second pitch he saw in the 10th inning and sent it over the right field fence. Jack Giordano got the win after striking out two in a scoreless 10th inning. The Beavers, as a team, struck out 16 batters. Jacob Galloway and Easton Talt both doubled and recorded two hits. Trey Morris started and worked 4 1/3 innings, striking out six while allowing a hit and a run.

• Oregon State and Baylor are meeting for just the third time. Baylor was a 4-3 winner at the 2005 College World Series. Oregon State flipped that to a 4-3 win last season in Arlington, Texas.
