Last Game
Bryce Hubbard's first career home run sent the Beavers to a 5-4 walkoff over Michigan Monday. Hubbard took the second pitch he saw in the 10th inning and sent it over the right field fence. Jack Giordano got the win after striking out two in a scoreless 10th inning. The Beavers, as a team, struck out 16 batters. Jacob Galloway and Easton Talt both doubled and recorded two hits. Trey Morris started and worked 4 1/3 innings, striking out six while allowing a hit and a run.

Oregon State Notables
• Oregon State and Baylor are meeting for just the third time. Baylor was a 4-3 winner at the 2005 College World Series. Oregon State flipped that to a 4-3 win last season in Arlington, Texas.
• Bryce Hubbard's home run Monday marked the first of the season for the Beavers.
• Oregon State has won the last two games via walkoffs. OSU last won two straight via walkoffs in 2018 when Nevada dropped a fly ball and on the second day defeated the Wolf Pack when Adley Rutschman hit an inside-the-park home run.
• The Beavers are returning to Round Rock for a second consecutive season. The 2025 club defeated No. 2 Virginia and lost to Oklahoma and Minnesota.
• Oregon State is 3-0 in one-run games this season and 44-36 in the Mitch Canham era.
• The Beavers are 177-50 under Canham when holding an opponent to five runs or less.
• OSU is also 9-6-1 under Canham in extra-inning games.
• AJ Singer has a seven-game hit streak going dating back to the 2025 season. He is 9-for-28 (.321) with five runs scored and three walks.
• Singer and Easton Talt are the only two Beavers who have hit safely in all four games this season. Nyan Hayes has also reached base safely in all four.
• Oregon State's four starters combined to allow three runs in 17 1/3 innings in Surprise. They've walked just eight while giving up 11 hits for a 1.10 WHIP.
• Fifteen of the 37 innings thrown came from pitchers not on the 2025 roster.
• The OSU pitching staff held opponents to just five extra-base hits in 37 innings in Surprise. Opponents recorded 36 total hits and 18 walks in those 37 innings.
• Friday's game is in the midst of an 11-game road trip for the Beavers to open the season. OSU plays 18 of its first 22 games away from home.
• The Beavers will be the visitors against the Bears. It's the first time OSU will be the visiting team this season. Oregon State is the home team versus both Southern Miss and Purdue on Saturday and Sunday, respectively.
