Beavers Fall to Bulldogs

LAS VEGAS, Nev. – The Oregon State men's basketball team fell to No. 12 Gonzaga 65-56 Monday evening in the semifinal round of the 2026 Credit Union 1 West Coast Conference Basketball Championship.
Jorge Diaz Graham led the Beavers with 15 points, nine rebounds and four blocks. Josiah Lake II had eight points and four assists, while Noah Amenhauser recorded 11 points and five rebounds off the bench. Isaiah Sy finished his night with seven points and eight rebounds.
Graham Ike led Gonzaga with 24 points. The Bulldogs shot 47 percent from the floor in the contest, while the Beavers shot 34 percent.
With the defeat, Oregon State moves to 17-16 on the season. Gonzaga improves to 29-3.
Both offenses struggled early on, with Gonzaga taking a 4-0 lead into the game's first media timeout. The Bulldogs extended the advantage to 17-6 mid-way through the first half.
Oregon State trailed 27-15 with five minutes left in the first half, and headed to the break down 38-24.
The Beavers got back within nine with 12 minutes left in the game, and battled back late on before falling by that margin.
