AJ Singer's eight-inning grand slam spurred a six-run frame and an Oregon State comeback in a 6-1 win over Cal State Fullerton Saturday afternoon in front of 4,056 fans at Goss Stadium at Coleman Field. Easton Talt and Bryson Glassco each singled to open the inning, and the Beavers, trailing 1-0, eventually loaded the bases with one down after Josh Proctor was intentionally walked. Up to the plate stepped Singer, who took the first pitch he saw from reliever Andrew Wright, then hit a line drive over the fence in right center to put Oregon State up, 4-1. Paul Vazquez and Jacob Galloway followed that up with run-scoring doubles in an inning that saw OSU tally six hits and send 10 batters to the plate. Prior to the inning, the Beavers had just four hits in the first seven frames on the day.
