Floor Lineup Shines as Gymnastics Concludes Season at Regional Semifinal

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State gymnastics placed third in the first session of the 2026 NCAA Gymnastics Corvallis Regional Semifinal, scoring a 196.375 to best No. 23 Denver (195.950) but falling short of No. 5 Alabama (197.225) and No. 12 Utah (197.500).
OSU made noise early in the meet, posting a 49.250 on floor exercise that had the Beavs in second place after one rotation.
Taylor DeVries led off the lineup with a 9.800 that was followed by Olivia Buckner's third-consecutive 9.850 and another 9.800, this time courtesy of Ellie Weaver. Reina Marchal and Savannah Miller were credited with a pair of 9.850s before Sophia Esposito anchored the lineup with yet another 9.900, making it four-consecutive weeks with a 9.900 or higher on that event.
After Kyanna Crabb (9.825) and Camryn Richardson (9.800) led the Beaver vaulters, Oregon State's bars lineup put up its highest score since tallying a season-best 49.425 against Utah State on Jan. 25, finishing with a 49.350 that counted four scores greater than 9.850.
Taylor DeVries led the rotation's scoring with a 9.925, which followed the 9.900 she scored in OSU's season finale against Denver on March 14. Esposito and Camryn Richardson followed DeVries' tremendous routine with a pair of 9.875s and Francesca Caso earned a 9.850; Ellie Weaver, competing in the anchor spot, was given a 9.800 to round out the team's scoring.
Lauren Letzsch's final routine inside Gill Coliseum, which came during the fourth rotation with OSU on beam, culminated in a 9.850, while Sophia Esposito earned a 9.800 to end her 10th all-around performance of the season with a 39.300.
Beaver gymnastics concludes its 29th season under the leadership of head coach Tanya Chaplin and will return to Gill Coliseum in 2027.
