Noble Thomas Jr. Named To Comeback Player Of The Year Watch List

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State defensive back Noble Thomas Jr. has been named to the Comeback Player of the Year watch list, it was announced Thursday by the College Sports Communicators, the Associated Press and Fiesta Bowl.

Thomas is one of 96 players on the preseason watch list. He missed all of 2025 and played in one game in 2024. In 2023, his second season as a Beaver, the Orange, Fla., native played in six games, totaling 19 tackles with a quarterback hurry and three pass breakups. He had four tackles in that season's Sun Bowl versus Notre Dame.

Quarterback Jake Luton was the first Beaver to be recognized with the honor, earning it in 2019.
