CORVALLIS, Ore. – Four Beavers tallied double-digit kills as Oregon State volleyball defeated the Montana Grizzlies on Friday inside Gill Coliseum, winning in four sets.

Taylor Treahy dominated throughout, leading the way with 19 kills. At one point in the first, the Santa Clarita, Calif., native scored three-consecutive Beaver points, and she would finish the game hitting .389 to go with five digs and four blocks.

Taray Tela hit .476 on her way to a career-best 12 kills, also contributing four blocks, while Alana Marrs' night also culminated in a line of 12 kills and four blocks, which included four kills in just the first set alone. AC Froehlich was the fourth Beaver to finish with double-digit kills as the Beavers combined for 64 in the match.

Jackie Matias recorded her second double-double of the season with 47 assists and 15 digs, and Isabel Bertelsen put up a career-high 15 digs to go with three assists; Cheyenne Green and Beatrice Spada both finished Friday's win with four kills.

The Beavers hit .291 as a unit compared to Montana's .226, totaling four service aces and 10 blocks as part of the victory.

Action was back-and-forth early in the match, neither team gaining more than a three-point advantage, and the score leveling out at 15 midway through the set. Oregon State found its groove down the stretch, opening things up with a 3-0 run to put the lead at 19-16 off a Froehlich kill, and rolled to a 25-21 set win.

After Montana won 25-20 in the second, the third and fourth sets were the Treahy show, as she tallied five kills in the third and six in the fourth to help the Beavers win 25-20 and 25-18, sealing the team's second home victory in as many nights.
