CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State volleyball held visiting Seattle U to 10 or fewer points in two of three sets, sweeping the Redhawks Saturday inside Gill Coliseum to finish 3-0 at the 2026 ASICS Invitational.

Isabel Bertelsen and Jackie Matias got the Beavers out to a quick start, combining for six aces in the first 10 total points scored. Bertelsen, a freshman from Orlando, Fla., continued to score off the serve and tallied eight aces against Seattle, which puts her in a five-way tie for second-most in a single match in Oregon State history.

She also contributed double-digit digs for the second-straight match with 13, while Matias had five digs, 29 assists and three aces.

AC Froehlich continued to pace the Beaver attack with 15 kills, averaging 5.0 per set and hitting .312. The Lafayette, La., native has now finished in double digits in every single match this season while hitting .300 or better three times.

Less than 24 hours after her 19-kill performance against Montana, Taylor Treahy hit .476 on her way to 11 kills in 21 total attempts, also accounting for six digs and three blocks. Taray Tela amassed seven kills and two blocks as Alana Marrs provided a line of six kills and three blocks on .500 hitting.

As a unit, Oregon State hit .333, which was a single match high in 2026, while holding SU to a negative hitting percentage. Led by Bertelsen's eight, the Beavers totaled 13 service aces.

After opening the match on a 5-0 run, the Beavers quickly built a double-digit lead at 12-2 thanks to a Redhawk attacking error. The Redhawks didn't go away quickly and later rattled off a 3-0 run of their own, but Oregon State slammed the door shut by scoring six unanswered to finish the first set at 25-10.

Seattle held a lead early in the second, taking a 4-2 advantage thanks to a pair of aces and kill. OSU then fought back and leveled the match at both five and six apiece but then broke away on a 5-0 run that included a pair of kills and one block by Tela. Both teams would battle down the stretch but Oregon State claimed set two at 25-18.

Froehclich flat out took over in the third, finishing with seven kills on 25 Oregon State points, while the offense dominated with scoring streaks of four, four, six and eight unanswered on the way to a 25-9 set win.

With Saturday's sweep, OSU finished the weekend having won nine of 10 sets played and improved its record to 4-2 on the young season.

Beaver volleyball is back in action next weekend in Los Angeles, Calif., facing Colorado, Arizona and tournament hosts USC, returning home Sept. 18 to face Portland State.
