Mitchell Malot is in his first season with Oregon State as assistant offensive line coach. He joined the Beavers after one season at Linfield, with previous stops at UNLV, Carroll College, Southern Oregon and College of the Siskiyous.
Malot spent the 2025 season as offensive line coach and run game coordinator at Linfield after serving as a graduate assistant working with the offensive line at UNLV in 2024. He coached the offensive line at NAIA power Carroll College in 2023, and before that spent two seasons (2021-22) as offensive line coach and run game coordinator at his alma mater, Southern Oregon, where his unit averaged more than 136 rushing yards per game in 2022 while allowing just 12 total sacks. Malot began his coaching career at Southern Oregon as tight ends coach in 2019 before moving to interim offensive line coach, then spent two seasons (2020-21) coaching offensive line and tight ends at College of the Siskiyous.
Malot played center and long snapper at Southern Oregon from 2017-18, helping the Raiders to a conference championship and national semifinal appearance in 2017, after beginning his playing career at College of the Siskiyous. He graduated from Southern Oregon in 2019 with a degree in interdisciplinary studies.
A native of Central Point, Ore., Malot graduated from Crater High School in 2015, where he was a three-year letterman and team captain regarded as the top long-snapper in the state. He also lettered three years in swimming, earning all-conference and All-Rogue Valley honors as a junior and senior.
