Zach McBride is in his first season with Oregon State as offensive quality control coach. He join the Beavers after four seasons at Franklin Pierce, with earlier stops at Eastern Washington, Western New Mexico and Colfax High School in Washington.
McBride spent three years as Franklin Pierce’s offensive coordinator, quarterbacks coach and recruiting coordinator from 2023-25, after joining the program as quarterbacks coach in 2022. Before that, he spent the 2021 season as an offensive analyst at Eastern Washington, helping guide an offense that ranked among the FCS leaders in multiple statistical categories as the Eagles advanced to the second round of the NCAA FCS Playoffs. He coached quarterbacks at Western New Mexico from 2020-21, and began his coaching career at Colfax High School from 2018-20.
A native of Issaquah, Wash., McBride is a graduate of Washington State University, where he earned a degree in history.
