- Coxed the Second Varsity 4+ at the Opening Day Regatta
- Coxed the Novice 8 at Pac-12 Championships earning a bronze medal finish

- Rowed both on the port and starboard for three years while in high school
- Won the women’s pair championship at the Head of the Lagoon in 2013

- Enjoys spoken word/slam poetry, art, mixed media and painting
- Received a third place Congressional Art Award in 2012
- Finished second place in a national slam poetry competition
- Received “Best of” Brave new Voices International Slam Poetry in 2014
- Has been volunteered as a recruiter for the Deep Water Rowing Association
- Has been involved in outreach events for With Our Words Poetry in Stockton
- Chose Oregon State because “I wanted to experience living in a different state and knew that OSU’s exercise and sport science program is considered one of the best public health tracks on the west coast”
