No. 22 Beavers Upset By Brigham Young

OREM, Utah - Oregon State was knocked off by Brigham Young 20-14 in non-league wrestling Saturday afternoon. OSU (9-6 overall, 5-2 Pacific-10), ranked 22nd in the country, now travels to 20th-ranked Boise State for a conference dual on Sunday at 1 p.m. PST.
Beaver 157-pounder Eric Jorgensen, ranked fourth in the country, resumed his winning ways with a 16-0 technical fall over the Cougars' Warren Harris. Jorgensen's 24-match win streak had been snapped Monday night by third-ranked Brian Snyder of Nebraska in the NWCA All-Star Classic, Jorgensen is now 25-2 this season and in 18 wins he has earned team bonus points for a major decision, technical fall, pin or forfeit.
OSU heavyweight Jason Cooley, ranked eighth nationally, was upset by unranked Chris Miller of Brigham Young as Miller took a 6-4 overtime victory. That ended Cooley's winning streak at eight matches, he is now 19-6 this season.
Other Beavers to earn victories against the Cougars were 125-pounder Nathan Navarro, 174-pounder Nathan Coy and 184-pounder Clint Wilson.
