Beavers Roll Past Boise State 90-79

BOISE, Idaho (AP) - Chris Stephens scored 21 points and Nick DeWitz added 17 points to lead Oregon State past Boise State 90-79 Saturday.
Oregon State (6-3) never trailed after the score was tied at 17 with 9:34 left in the first half and led Boise State (5-4) by as many as 16 early in the second half.
Stephens was 6-for-9 from the field, including 3-for-5 from 3-point range and went 6-for-6 from the line. Sasa Cuic scored 15 and Jason Fontenet added 14 points for the Beavers.
The Broncos were led by Jermaine Blackburn with 22 points and Coby Karl scored 14. Franco Harris added 12 points and Seth Robinson scored 11 for Boise State.
Oregon State led 46-36 at halftime and opened the second half with a 7-0 run. Boise State closed to 62-56 with 10:49 remaining, then cut the Beaver lead to 72-67 on a 3-pointer and free throw by Karl late in the half, but Oregon State then outscored the Broncos 9-2 to put away the game.
