Oregon State went with the same five that started the first 14 games of the season with Ahmad Starks and Jared Cunningham at guard, Joe Burton and Devon Collier at forward and Angus Brandt at center.
The Beavers came back from their biggest deficit (10 points) in a game this season to win. Their previous biggest deficit in a win was eight points against Texas on Nov. 19 (100-95 OT final).
With the win, Oregon State snapped a 13-game conference road losing streak that dated back to a 49-44 win over USC on Feb. 27, 2010 at the Galen Center in Los Angeles, Calif.
Oregon State scored 50+ second half points for the fourth time this season (59 vs. Portland State; 54 vs. California; 53 at Oregon; 50 vs. Illinois-Chicago).
The 23 first half first points by the Beavers was their lowest in a half this season. Their previous low was 24 against Idaho in the first half.
With 27 points in the game, Jared Cunningham became the 36th Oregon State player to score 1,000 points and now has 1,008 in his career.
Cunningham had a steal in the second half and now has at least one steal in 23 consecutive games, the fourth longest streak in Oregon State history (record is 34 by Gary Payton).
Ahmad Starks hit a three-pointer for the 18th consecutive game and now has a triple in 20 of 21 games this season.
Eric Moreland had a career-high four steals a game after coming away with a career-best three steals against USC.
