Beavers Return Home, Face No. 3 Stanford

THIS WEEK
• The Beavers continue Pac-12 Conference action Friday against No. 3 Stanford at Paul Lorenz Field starting at 7:00 p.m.
A WIN ON FRIDAY WOULD
• Be the 244th win in program history.
• Be the Beavers sixth win of the season and fifth win at Paul Lorenz Field.
• Be the Beavers first win in Pac-12 Conference play. All of OSU's league matches have been against teams with undefeated records in conference play.
• Be the Beavers second win against Stanford, (23rd meeting).
• Be OSU's second win at home against Stanford, (11th time).
• Be HC Linus Rhode's first win over Stanford.
SCOUTING THE CARDINAL
• Stanford enters Friday's match with an 11-1-1 overall mark and 4-1 in Pac-12 action.
• The Cardinal is ranked No. 3 in this week's NSCAA Poll.
• Stanford is coming off of a Pac-12 Conference title and a NCAA Tournament appearance a season ago.
• The Cardinal started its season on a six-match win streak, before recording a tie with No. 20 Nortre Dame.
• Since the tie, Stanford was perfect until suffering its first loss of the season to No. 7 USC, 3-0 last week.
• Stanford is 3-1-1 against ranked teams.
• The Cardinal carry an 8-1-1 record in their last 10 matches.Â
• Stanford has shutout five of its opponents so far this season.
• Stanford holds a goal advantage, outscoring its opponents, 30-12 and holding them to a 0.92 goals scored per game.
• The Cardinal also rank second in the Pac-12 in goals with 30 and third with 81 points.
• Senior, Jane Campbell leads the Cardinal in between the pipes, tallying two shutouts and grabbing 30 saves.
• Sophomore, Jordan BiBiasi, paces Stanford with six goals, while redshirt sophomore Kyra Carusa leads with seven assists and ranks first in the Pac-12.Â
• HC for Stanford is Paul Ratcliffe in his 14th season and holds a 233-47-26 overall record.
STANFORD SERIES HISTORY
• Friday's match will mark the 23rd meeting between Oregon State and Stanford.
• Stanford holds a 22-1 all-time record in a series that started back in 1990.
• Oregon State's lone win comes back in 2004 after pulling off a 1-0 upset at Paul Lorenz Field.
• OSU is 0-17 against Stanford when the Cardinal are ranked.
• Stanford has been ranked in the top-25 in the last 10 contests.
• The Beavs have lost five-straight matches at home and are currently on a 12-match losing streak.
• Stanford has shut out Oregon State 13 times in the series, including the last two matches.
• The Cardinal saturate the series in goals, outscoring the Beavers 67-10.
• One goal has decided just nine of the 22 matches and there has yet to be an overtime match.

• The Beavers will continue league action next week as they close their home schedule against the Arizona schools.

ROSTER BREAKDOWN
• OSU head coach Linus Rhode welcomes 12 players that started a match and 15 letterwinners back from the 2015-16 season.Â
• The squad will also welcome six newcomers to start their careers at Oregon State.
• The Beavers have 26 student-athletes on the roster, including 10-of-13 players that appeared in all-19 or 18 matches last season.

• The Beavers recorded a 1-0 loss at Utah before closing the weekend suffering a 3-0 defeat at Colorado.
