Beavers Ready For NCAA Regional Action

CORVALLIS, Ore. – For the first time since 2012, the Oregon State women's golf team is heading to the NCAA Division I Women's Golf Regionals.

Lubbock, Texas will be the destination for Dawn Shockley's squad as the Beavers will square off with 17 other teams from around the country. The Beavers enter the regional as the No. 14 seed, and will need to finish in the top six of the regional to advance to the NCAA Championships.Â

When: Monday, May 8-Wednesday, May 10
Where: Lubbock, Texas
Course: Par-71, 6,593-yard Rawls Course
Field: 18 teams and 6 individuals
Format:Â 54 holes of stroke play
Tee Times: 8 a.m. CT (6 a.m. PT) each day

BEAVERS' LINEUP: Oregon State will go with a lineup of senior Elyse Smidinger, juniors Susie Cavanagh and Hannah Swanson, sophomore Olivia Benzin and freshman Nicole Schroeder.

LUBBOCK REGIONAL BREAKDOWN
The Lubbock Regional will be played at The Rawls Course in Lubbock, Texas. The Rawls Course is an award-winning facility that is home to the Texas Tech men's and women's golf programs. Completed in September 2003, the 270-acre parcel features an 18-hole championship level course with a 60-acre driving range as well as pitching and chipping areas. The course was most recently named the No. 4 campus course in the country by Golfweek Magazine in September 2016.
