Men's Golf Heads To Seattle For Redhawk Invite Monday

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State men's golf competes in back-to-back weeks when the Beavers compete in the Redhawk Invitational Monday and Tuesday.
The Beavers are coming off a second-place finish at the Duck Invitational where junior Mateo Fuenmayor tied for the individual title. He shot a combined 9-under par over the final two rounds of the tournament, which included a personal-best 5-under 66 over the final 18 holes.
Oregon State competed in the 2022 Redhawk Invitational last season, with the event being trimmed to just one round due to rain. The Beavers finished fourth as a team with Jackson Lake tying for 11th.
COURSE: The tournament will be held at the par-71, 7,068-yard Chamber's Bay Golf Course in University Place, Wash.
FIELD (19): Oregon State, Army, Boise State, Cal State Fullerton, George Mason, George Washington, Gonzaga, Idaho, Michigan State, Nevada, Sacramento State, Seattle, Southern Illinois, UC Irvine, UC San Diego, Washington, Cal State Northridge, Northern Colorado and North Dakota State.
BEAVERS' LINEUP: Oregon State's lineup will consist of Jackson Lake, Nolan Thoroughgood, Rylan Johnson, Carson Barry and Mateo Fuenmayor.
FORMAT: Two-day, 54-hole tournament with 36 holes Monday and 18 on Tuesday. The top-four individuals from each five-member team with the lowest scores for each 18-hole round constitute the scoring members for that given round.
TEE TIMES: The tournament will run via a shotgun start. Each day begins at 8 a.m. PT.
LIVE SCORING: There will be live scoring for the tournament on birdiefire.com.
