Men’s Rowing Heads East for Showdowns with Penn, Cornell, Holy Cross

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State is headed east this weekend to take on three other top-20 teams in Philadelphia.
The Beavs will open the weekend with a showdown against no. 12 Penn on Friday before battling no. 18 Holy Cross and no. 14 Cornell on Saturday. Action opens on Friday at 11:15 a.m. PT/2:15 p.m. ET against Penn.
Saturday's rowing begins early with a 5:35 a.m. PT start against Holy Cross before returning to the watcher for three showdowns with Cornell. The Beavs take on the Big Red beginning at 9:30 a.m. PT.
Oregon State enters the weekend with the Varsity Eight ranked no. 19 in the country in the latest IRCA/IRA Coaches Poll. The 2V8 is ranked 16th while the 3V8 came in at no. 20.
This is OSU's final opportunity to compete during the regular season with the Pac-12 Championships slated for May 14 on Dexter Lake.
