Beaver Men Ready for Pac-12 Championships on Dexter Lake
May 13, 2023 | Men's Rowing
CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State Men's Rowing will look to cement its postseason case and earn a title at the Pac-12 Championships on Dexter Lake.
The Beavs will compete five times on Sunday, starting with the Freshman 8+ at 9:12 a.m and closing with the Varsity 8 at 10:32 a.m. The women and men alternate races so fans in attendance will have the chance to cheer on both Beaver teams throughout the day. The women begin at 9:02 a.m.
Oregon State is coming off a weekend facing top competition out east. The Beavs scored a victory over then-no. 18 Holy Cross before returning to the Pacific Northwest and subsequently leapfrogged the Crusaders in the IRA/IRCA Coaches Poll to take the no. 18 spot for themselves.
All four Pac-12 teams are ranked on the men's side. California is the no. 1 team in the land while Washington is ranked third. Stanford sits in the no. 8 spot while the Beavs are no. 18. OSU has already squared off with the Huskies and Cardinal this season and will be looking to revenge after early season defeats.
The entire men's and women's championships will be broadcast on Pac-12 Network. Fans can watch online at Pac-12.com/live or stream the races on the Pac-12 Now App. Live results can be found here.
Oregon State will learn its postseason fate on Tuesday when the IRA announces its championship field.
