Beavers Ready For NCAA National Championships In Scottsdale

CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Oregon State women's golf team will compete at the NCAA Division I National Championships beginning Friday at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Ariz.
The National Championship will include 30 teams and six individuals completing 54 holes of stroke play, and then the top 15 teams along with the top nine individuals not on an advancing team competing for one additional day of stroke play to determine the top eight teams for match play competition and the 72-hole stroke play individual champion.
The top eight teams then compete in match play for the team national championship to be decided Wednesday, May 24.
The Beavers advanced to the NCAA National Championships for the second time in program history (1998 was the other) after finishing in second place at the NCAA Regionals in Westfield, Ind., their best-ever finish at an NCAA Regional. The top five teams at six regional sites received automatic bids to the National Championships.

BEAVERS' LINEUP: Oregon State's lineup will feature Chayse Gomez, Kyra Ly, Amanda Minni, Danique Stokmans and Madde Sund. Kelsey Webster will be the team's alternate.

TEE TIMES: There will be tee times beginning at 6:10 a.m. for the first two rounds with morning and afternoon waves. Oregon State will start the first round on the 10th hole at 8:00 a.m. on Friday and begin the second round on the first hole at 1:20 p.m. on Saturday. The Beavers will be paired with North Carolina State and Augusta both days. Tee times for Sunday's round will be adjusted based on the leaderboard after the first two days.
