Men’s Golf Completes Play At The Preserve

CARMEL, Calif. – Bradley Smolinski finished with a team-best 3-under 69 in the final day of the Oregon State men's golf team's trip to The Preserve Golf Club Collegiate.

Oregon State jumped two spots in the third round after shooting a 5-under 283 as a team at the par-72, 7,138-yard Preserve Golf Club. The Beavers finished the event eighth with a 13-over 877.

Smolinski was one of three Beavers to finish under par over the final 18 holes. He led the Beavers overall with a 1-under 215 after also finishing with a 1-under 71 in the first round. He posted four birdies in the final round and 10 overall, tying him with Rylan Johnson for the team lead.

Smolinski finished tied for 16^th, his third top-20 finish of the year.

Johnson and Stanley Lin each posted 1-under 71 scores to come in just behind Smolinski. Johnson ended the tournament three shots behind at 2-over, and tied for 24^th.

Lin, meanwhile, had his best round of the event, just like Johnson. He ended the event tied for 31^st with a 4-over 220.

Collin Hodgkinson placed in a tie for 54^th after posting a 1-over 72 on Tuesday. He shot a 10-over 226 overall. Hodgkinson was followed by Brandon Eyre, who at 14-over 230, tied for 64^th.
