
Beavers Return Home to Face Broncos, Dons

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Returning to the comforts of Gill Coliseum after consecutive road matches, the Oregon State volleyball team will welcome back alumni and face the league's Bay Area foes, Santa Clara and San Francisco, this weekend.

Numbers to Know
2 – Two - Yasemin Narlioglu (154) and Vivian Light (117) - have at least 100 digs a dozen matches into 2024.
4 – Lauren Rumel's .413 clip ranks fourth in league contests, two weeks into conference play.
6 – By weekend's end, Oregon State will have played six opponents from California.
8- Emma Lilo's 252 assists and 7.18 assists/set place her 8th in the league.

• The Beavers and Broncos will meet for the 10th time in a series OSU leads 5-4.
• Santa Clara has claimed two of the last three meetings, including the last meeting, a sweep, back in 2021 at the Boise State Classic.
• OSU and Santa Clara met annually from 1982-85,
• Thursday's meeting will be the first non-neutral bout in the series, which was also held inside Gill Coliseum.
• Also meeting for a 10th time, the Beavers will look to improve on their 9-0 lead against the Dons.
• OSU and San Francisco met four times in a three-year stretch from 1982-84, with two tilts in '84.
• 23 years ago was the last time OSU and San Francisco met, the Beavers swept the Dons inside Gill during the OSU Volleyball Showcase.
Looking Back at Last Week
• Oregon State fell in their last time out, a 3-0 setback to San Diego on the road last Saturday.
• The setback evened the all-time series against the Toreros to 3-3.
A New Era Underway
• For the 2024-25 and 2025-26 school years, OSU is an affiliate member of the WCC before returning to a rebuilt Pac-12 in 2026-27.
• Boise State, Colorado State, Fresno State, Gonzaga, San Diego State and Utah State will join OSU and Washington State in the Pac-12 on July 1, 2026.

• Lauren Rumel finds herself near the top of the league in conference play in hitting percentage (4th - .413).
• She's among the conference's leaders in kills in four-set matches, holding second place (21 vs. Fresno State) as well as sixth (18 at Grand Canyon).
Aces Wild
• With two weeks of league play behind Oregon State, a pair of Beavs - Vivian Light (6 - 3rd) and Iris Coba (4 - 9th) - find themselves in the top 10 in service aces.
• Light's five-ace match at Portland two weeks ago ranks atop the league's single-match performances in WCC action.
