Three Take Princeton Open Crowns in Opener
November 02, 2025 | Wrestling
PRINCETON, N.J. – The Oregon State wrestling team opened the season on Sunday at the Princeton Open, with three individual champions on the day. To go along with the three winners, the Beavers were well-represented around the invitational, with eight student-athletes placing from runner-up to sixth-place.
Returning to the lineup after a redshirt season, Justin Rademacher (197) used three major decision wins on his way to a tournament title. Maximo Renteria (125) started his day with a dominant pin and rode the momentum to the championship while competing unattached, Daschle Lamer (174) conceded just one point in four bouts on the title chase.
Oregon State will be back in action on November 16th when Utah Valley visits for the home opener. The first bout is set for 2 p.m.
