Six Beavers Earn Academic All-District Honors

CORVALLIS – Six Oregon State women's soccer players have earned College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors, the CSC announced Tuesday. Carly Carraher, Rin Choi, Mia Erba, Paola Figueroa, Mya Sanchez and Megin Turi all received the recognition.
Carraher is a graduate student from Portland, Ore. She started 15 matches this season, scoring two goals to go along with two assists. Carraher is a two-time WCC All-Academic Honorable Mention.
Choi is a Sociology major from Seoul, South Korea. She scored one goal in 19 appearances this season, and is a two-time WCC All-Academic Honorable Mention.
Erba is a Kinesiology major from San Jose, Calif. She was selected as a WCC All-Conference Honorable Mention this season, starting 18 matches and recording one goal and one assist. Erba is a two-time WCC Academic Honorable Mention.
Figueroa is a graduate student from Lancaster, Calif. She started 18 matches in 2025, scoring one goal and recording one assist. Overall, Figueroa has made 53 career appearances and 42 career starts.
Sanchez is a Sports Business major, and hails from Turlock, Calif. She is a two-time All-WCC Honorable Mention, and recorded 101 saves this season. Sanchez is a two-time All-WCC Academic Honorable Mention.
Turi is a BioHealth Sciences major out of Abbotsford, B.C. She started all 19 matches in 2025, and has played a total of 70 career matches. Turi is a two-time WCC Academic Honorable Mention.
