
Seedings Set for NCAA Championships

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Each of the six Oregon State wrestlers learned their seeds for next week's 2025 NCAA Wrestling Championships in Philadelphia.
Maximo Renteria, the 2025 Pac-12 champion at 125 lbs., will be the 15th-seed at meet Indiana's 18th-seeded Jacob Moran in the first round.
Nash Singleton, the 2025 Pac-12 champion at 141 lbs., is seeded 32nd and will start his first Championships against 33rd-seeded Lorenzo Frezza of Colgate for the right to meet top-seeded Brock Hardy of Nebraska.
The first Beaver to clinch his ticket to Philadelphia, Ethan Stiles (149), is seeded 12th and set to face Oklahoma's Willie McDougald of Oklahoma. He punched his ticket by way of the Pac-12's allocation.
CJ Hamblin – an at-large qualifier – will be seeded 28th in the 157-lb. bracket. The Vancouver, Wash., product will meet fifth-seeded Brandon Cannon of Ohio State in the first round of the Championships.
TJ McDonnell – who used a pair of upsets at the Pac-12 Championships – will be seeded 33rd at 184 lbs. McDonnell will face 32nd-ranked Caden Rogers of Lehigh for the right to face top-seeded Carter Starocci of Penn State in the first round.
Making his fourth appearance in the Championships as an Oregon State student-athlete, Trey Munoz is slotted 13th in the 197-lb. bracket. The two-time defending All-American at 184 will face 20th-seeded Camden McDanel of Nebraska in the first round. Munoz will face McDanel for the second time this season following an 11-1 win at major decision during December's Cliff Keen Invitational.
The Championships will get underway next Thursday, March 20th, from Philadelphia.
