Oregon State Loses Game Two In Eugene

EUGENE, Ore. – Third-ranked Oregon State dropped a 13-1 decision to No. 13 Oregon Saturday at PK Park.
AJ Singer drove in the Beavers' (32-9) lone run on a sixth-inning single to left, his 26th RBI of the season.
Oregon (29-12) produced the win on the strength of four home runs. The Ducks scored two in each of the first two innings, then three in the fourth, two in the fifth and four in the sixth.
Dax Whitney worked three innings in his 11th start of the season and the righty scattered four hits and four runs while striking out four. He took the loss, dropping to 3-3.
His counterpart, Collin Clarke, went six full, allowing four hits and a run. He walked two and struck out four to improve to 3-2 on the season.
Gavin Turley went 2-for-4 for his team-leading 17th multiple-hit game of the season.
