
Three Seal World Team Spots

GENEVA, Ohio – This past weekend, three Oregon State wrestlers clinched World Team spots to highlight action at the USA Wrestling U23 Nationals and U20 World Team Trials. Four finished in the top-seven of the U23 competition.
Joel Adams (72 kg), Aden Attao (120 kg) and Justin Rademacher (97 kg) sealed World Team spots for Team USA. Rademacher (U20) was in the freestyle competition while Adams (U20) and Attao (U23) were Greco-Roman winners.
Attao and Rademacher will make consecutive appearances on the respective World Teams, as well as both completed the competition with bronze medal finishes.
In the U23 Nationals competition, Attao and three others turned in finishes inside the top-seven. After making his first appearance in the NCAA Championships, CJ Hamblin (70 kg) sealed third place following a technical fall win at 10-0. Nash Singleton (65 kg) – fresh off his first Pac-12 title – used four technical falls on the way to a fourth-place finish. Noah Tolentino (65) and Attao (120 kg) closed out the competition with identical seventh-place performances.
