The Game
Oregon State opens a three-game series Friday night when the Beavers host Cal Poly at Goss Stadium at Coleman Field. First pitch is scheduled for 5:35 p.m. PT.

Last Game
Bryce Hubbard hit a ninth-inning home run to pull OSU to within one but the Beavers were unable to overcome an early deficit in a 7-6 loss to Washington State on Tuesday in Pullman. Paul Vazquez hit a sixth-inning home run for the Beavers, who improved to 4-1 on their five-game road trip. Vazquez and Adam Haight both had two hits to lead the Beavers. Talt hit a ninth-inning triple to start the rally.

Oregon State Notables
• The Beavers and Mustangs are meeting for the 21st time on Friday. Oregon State is 3-2 at home, with the last matchup at Goss coming in 2015. OSU has won seven of the last 19 meetings between the teams.
• Dax Whitney, Friday's probable starter, is 4-0 with a 1.64 earned run average lifetime at Goss Stadium. He has struck out 74 to 17 walks issued and 22 hits allowed in 44 innings over seven starts at home.
• Whitney leads the nation with 88 strikeouts. He surpassed 200 for his career last week at Lamar and is at 208 over 124 innings.
• He has struck out 10 or more in six of his eight starts this season.
• Mitch Canham needs one victory for 250 in his Oregon State career. He enters the series with a 249-110-1 mark.
• Oregon State tallied 17 extra-base hits during the team's most recent five-game road trip, while holding Lamar and Washington State to a combined four.
• Easton Talt enters the series on a four-game hit streak and is 8-for-17 with a double, triple and four RBI during it.
• Oregon State's staff did not issue a walk to Washington State on Tuesday. It's the first time that has happened since March 23, 2025 at Cal Poly.
• OSU struck out 47 and walked 13 in 42 innings on the road trip.
• OSU is 3-0 against Big West foes this season and will play 15 more against the conference.
• The Beavers finish out the regular season by playing 19 of their final 24 games at home. Two of the five away from home will be in Hillsboro April 14 against Oregon and May 5 versus Portland.
