Bryce Hubbard hit a ninth-inning home run to pull OSU to within one but the Beavers were unable to overcome an early deficit in a 7-6 loss to Washington State on Tuesday in Pullman. Paul Vazquez hit a sixth-inning home run for the Beavers, who improved to 4-1 on their five-game road trip. Vazquez and Adam Haight both had two hits to lead the Beavers. Talt hit a ninth-inning triple to start the rally.
