
Albert Roblez, Dax Whitney Recognized As CBF All-Americans

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State right-handed pitchers Albert Roblez and Dax Whitney were both named First-Team All-Americans by the College Baseball Foundation, it was announced on Wednesday.
For Whitney, it is his fifth All-American honor from the 2026 season, and fourth as a first-teamer. He's also been named a first-team selection by Baseball America, the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) and Perfect Game. He was also a second-teamer per the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA).
Roblez, meanwhile, is a first-teamer for the third time this season following recognition by Perfect Game and the NCBWA.
Roblez, from Moreno Valley, Calif., finished the 2026 season with 14 saves and a 2-1 record in 24 appearances. He finished with a 1.50 ERA, and held opponents to a .173 batting average while striking out 53 in 30 innings.
Whitney, from Blackfoot, Idaho, finished the season with a 6-1 record and 2.00 earned run average. He started 11 games, striking out 104 over 63 innings. He held opponents to 42 hits and .185 batting average while posting a 0.95 WHIP.
