CORVALLIS – The No. 25 Oregon State men's soccer team took down No. 11 Washington 4-3 in a wild match Sunday evening in Corvallis, Ore.

The Beavers trailed 1-0 at halftime, but scored four second-half goals to claim victory in a back-and-forth affair. Milo Wray, Tim Hoffman, Max Eisenberg and Wyatt Borso all found the net in the contest. Oliver Hernandez Parra and Gavin Wolff recorded two assists apiece.

Overall, the Beavers out-shot the Huskies 14-13 in the contest.

Oregon State created the first clear-cut scoring chance of the game, as Wray put his shot over the crossbar in the 15^th minute. Eisenberg was 1-on-1 with the keeper in the 25^th minute, but his touch took him wide of the goal, and he missed the target.

Washington opened the scoring against the run of play in the 29^th minute off a corner kick. Oregon State had a chance to level the score on a 43^rd-minute penalty kick, but the effort was saved. The Huskies took a 1-0 lead into the intermission.

The Beavers wasted little time to start the second period, as Wray leveled the just two minutes into the frame. Hoffman followed the up with a wonder-goal to put Oregon State in front.

The Huskies answered back just minutes later, converting from close range to even the score. Once again Oregon State answered, as Eisenberg put OSU back in front 3-2. Borso recorded the Beaver fourth shortly thereafter.

Washington netted its third in the 81^st minute, but the Beaver back line was able to clamp down in the closing phase of the match to lock down the victory.

The Beavers will hit the road next week for matchups against Georgetown and Virginia.
