AJ Winsor Recognized By Ray Guy Award

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State's AJ Winsor is one of the Ray Guy Award Ray's 8 for the first week of the season, it was announced on Tuesday.

Winsor punted four times in the season opener at Houston, averaging 47.8 yards per. He had a 51-yard punt in the first quarter and then followed it up with a pair of 57 and 49 yarders, respectively, in the second quarter.

The junior has averaged 40 or more yards in 14 of his 17 career games. He's also posted at least one 50-yard punt in all but three of his games. He's gone 50 or more yards 24 times in his career, with eight coming over his last three games.

Winsor, from Mukilteo, Wash., has punted 70 times overall, averaging 45 yards per, ranking fifth in the Oregon State record books.
