Jesse Legree Named Pac-12 Football Freshman Of The Week

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State's Jesse Legree had quite the first career game on Saturday, and his performance was recognized when he named the Pac-12 Conference's Freshman of the Week on Tuesday.

Legree, from Baltimore, Md., played in his first collegiate game as the Beavers opened the season this past Saturday in Houston. He proceeded to catch five passes for 136 yards and a touchdown to help lead Oregon State offensively.

Legree's first career interception came on a 71-yarder in the first quarter, a play in which he was credited with 40 yards after the catch. He later scored on a 7-yard reception in the second half.

All five of his receptions ended with a first down or a touchdown.
