Eight Rowers Recognized as CRCA National Scholar-Athletes
OREGON STATE 2011-12 Rowed bow for the 2nd Varsity 8+ boat at the University of Victoria and Gonzaga. She also rowed bow for the Varsity 8+ boat at the San Diego Crew Classic, Michigan Invite, Washington State, and Pac-12 Championship. Vernazza's 2nd Varsity 8+ boat finished first at both Gonzaga and the University of Victoria, as well as her Varsity 8+ boat finishing first in the first day of the San Diego Crew Classic.
2010-11 Tina rowed in the Novice 8 throughout the 2011 season ... Raced in the 7-seat of the N8 in a silver medal finish at the Pac-10 Championships ... Set the pace in the stroke seat of the N8 in a win at Gonzaga ... Rowed in the bow seat of the N8 in a second place finish at the Elk Lake Spring Regatta ... Raced in the 7-seat of the N8 helping the Beavers to a first place finish in the Grand Final of the Lake Natoma Invitational ...
