THE GAME: Oregon State (4-15, 0-6 Pac-12) looks to defeat California (13-6, 4-3) at Gill Coliseum for the second straight year when it hosts the Golden Bears at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Gary Payton II had 20 points, 11 rebounds, eight assists and four steals. Tres Tinkle (15) and Stephen Thompson Jr. (11) also hit double-digit scoring.

Cal won the next two games, 83-71 on Feb. 13 in Berkeley and 76-68 on March 10 in the quarterfinals of the Pac-12 Tournament in Las Vegas. Tinkle scored a team-high 22 points in Berkeley, while Derrick Bruce dropped 25 points in Las Vegas.

- Tres Tinkle: Has missed the last 13 games and is out indefinitely with a broken right wrist. He suffered the injury in the second half against Fresno State on Nov. 25 when he landed on his right hand trying to block a shot.
- Cheikh N'diaye: Has missed the last 10 games and it out indefinitely with an injured left shoulder. He had surgery on the same shoulder last spring to repair a torn labrum.
- Ben Koné: Missed the first nine games while recovering from a torn ACL suffered in his left knee as a senior in high school.
- Stephen Thompson Jr.: Missed six games with an injury to his left foot.
- Daine Muller: Missed four games to injury. The first was against Kent State (Nov. 21) when he saw a leg specialist in Wyoming. The other three were against WSU (Jan. 4), Washington (Jan. 7) and Oregon (Jan. 14) due to a concussion.
