April 04, 2017 | Women's Rowing
CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Oregon State rowing programs are excited to host the fifth annual Oregon State Classic, set for Saturday at Dexter Lake in Lowell, Ore.
Both the men's and women's teams will race with the men dueling Washington in the morning and the women facing Washington State in morning racing. In the afternoon, the Beavers' women's team will go four-wide with crews from Washington, UCLA and Oregon as well as WSU.
"We are excited to invite Oregon, Washington, Washington State and UCLA to be a part of this regatta," women's interim head coach Allison Foster said. "We hope to see lots of support at Dexter and enjoy a good day of racing."
The fun-filled day of racing is set to begin at 9 a.m. and continues at 1 p.m. for the afternoon session.
"This is a fun event and just continues to grow each year," men's head coach Gabe Winkler said. "We're ready and looking forward to facing Washington this weekend."
Admission to this event is free. Pack a lunch and bring the family out for a day at Dexter Lake.
