Oregon State faces San Diego State at 9 a.m. on Monday.
CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State will end the year at San Diego State on Monday, December 31 at 9 a.m.
The Beavers return to action after seeing success at both the USA Winter Nationals with Felicia Anderson qualifying for the 2020 Olympic Swim Trials in the 100 back and at the Husky Invite where everyone who competed earned either a season or a career best.
Heading into the halfway point of the season, there have already been seven new top times added to the OSU Record Book. These include three from sophomore, Brooke Hofmann (100 back – ninth, 56.31; 200 back – 10th, 2:03.80; and 100 breast – 10th 1:03.71). Juniors Felicia Anderson and Jacquie Price added two with the fifth-lowest time in the 100 back (54.14) and eighth-lowest time in the 100 fly (54.85) respectively. The final two new times have been added by freshmen Cali Rowland (200 breast – 10th, 2:18.05) and Lindsay Swail (100 back – sixth, 55.14).
Eight other swimmers have times that place them less than one second outside of the top ten for one of the events in the OSU Record Book.
Monday's meet will be hosted at the Aztec Aquaplex in San Diego, Calif.
