February 27, 2020 | Men's Basketball
EUGENE, Ore. – Ethan Thompson scored 15 points and Tres Tinkle posted a double-double, but it wasn't enough in a 69-54 loss to No. 14 Oregon on Thursday evening at Matthew Knight Arena.
Tinkle had 14 points and 10 rebounds for his sixth double-double this season and 27th in his career. He is now only six points shy of passing Gary Payton (2,172) as the all-time scoring leader in Oregon State history.
