Vernon Notches 800th Kill but Beavs Fall to Huskies

CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Oregon State volleyball team fell in a four-set affair to Washington, 3-1 (25-20, 10-25, 24-26, 24-26), Sunday afternoon inside Gill Coliseum.
During the first set of the match, Mychael Vernon recorded her 800th career kill.
A duo of Megan Sheridan and Vernon led the Beavers (5-9, 0-4 Pac-12) with 14 kills, while Ava Pitchford's 23 assists paced the stat and Ryan White tallied a team-best 18 digs on the afternoon.
Heading back on the road, Oregon State will meet Utah on Friday, October 6th in Salt Lake City. First serve is set for 6 p.m. PT and can be seen on the Pac-12 Networks.
