Beavs Fall Short in Salt Lake City on Friday

SALT LAKE CITY – The Oregon State volleyball team dropped a four-set road match to Utah (25-23, 18-25, 19-25, 15-25) on Friday night.
Mychael Vernon paced the Beavers (5-10, 0-5 Pac-12) with 16 kills while Elizabeth Schuster had a team-high 24 assists. The 15 digs from Ryan White paced the OSU defense. Iris Coba and Schuster both tallied a pair of aces – tying for the most on the squad in the match.
Schuster's 24 helpers set a new high in Pac-12 play, besting her 21 against Washington.
Oregon State will close out the quick two-match road swing on Sunday with a matchup against Colorado. Action against the Buffaloes is set for 11 a.m. and can be seen on the CU Live Stream.
