Beavs Record Five First Place Finishes at Dexter Lake Invite

LOWELL, Ore. – Oregon State saw four out of five boats pick up victories across two sessions of racing, as the Beavs closed the regular season with the Dexter Lake Invite on Saturday.
OSU started strong in the varsity four, as both the 1V4+ and 2V4+ collected wins to open the day on Dexter.
The 2V4+ of Ashtyn Miller, Annalise Bledsoe, Zoë Bishop, Sasha Stolasz and Anna Michie (cox) started the morning strong, taking first in the opening race by a sizable margin, coming in 11 seconds ahead of second-place Gonzaga with a time of 7:40.0. Facing a tough head wind in the afternoon session, the same four rowers with Taylor Denger as the coxswain battled for a sizeable win over the field, coming across the line in 8:04.3.
The 1V4+ of Sasha Delman, Alexandra Hutchinson, Margo Calub, Alexa Ellis and Grace Sansoterra (cox) continued the winning ways for the Beavs, finishing in 7:22.5 to clear Pac-12 foe USC by nearly five seconds.
With a second and third place finish in the first session, the first and second varsity eight boats answered the challenge in the later portion of the days racing.
The 1V8+ of AnnaRuth Neville (cox), Muryn Greene, Maeve Donnelly, Kathryn Clemens, Sierra Bishop, Evan Park, Rhianna Loughnan, Anneka Davys and Annelise Norkitis finished in 6:52.7 ahead of conference opponents UCLA and USC.
After a third place finish in the morning session, the 2V8+ of Charlotte Gregory (cox), Kathryn Worley, Giulia Clerici, Kaitlyn Judd, Rebecca Logan, Megan Lautner, Tulla Angeley, Rebecca Falash and Torree Hawken turned the tide on UCLA and USC, clearing the line in 7:01.5 for a win in the final session.
