ACCOUNT OPENED:
Isa Calderon scored her first career goal in the Beavers' last game at Santa Clara, capitalizing on an open net and finishing with her right foot. Originally from Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico, Calderon has appeared in eight games as a freshman and set a season-high mark for playing time against the Broncos on Saturday, spending 35 minutes on the pitch.
HIGH PRESSURE AND HELPING HANDS:
Calderon's goal came off an assist from Nathalie Lewis, who pressed high on the Bronco backline and created a turnover just inside the 18 before quickly poking a pass with her left foot. Lewis has been a critical part of the Oregon State attack this season, starting all 14 games and while tallying two goals and one assist across 1,087 minutes played. She's one of four Beavs with two goals this season and is one of seven players with at least one goal and one assist.
ANOTHER ONE:
With Calderon finding the back of the net for the first time this season, there are now 10 different Beaver student-athletes who have scored a goal this season, while Lewis' assist makes it eight athletes with at least one assist. With 13 assists on 14 total goals, OSU has an assist rate of approximately 92% this season.
LEGEND:
After making a combined eight appearances as a freshman and sophomore, Mya Sanchez has started every single game as a junior and senior, and with many strong performances, has quickly climbed into the Oregon State record book. Despite having just 40 career appearances, Sanchez enters this week's games sitting at 10th in program history for total saves with 186 and is close to becoming just the eighth player to ever reach 200 saves while wearing a Beaver uniform.
INCREASING IMPACT:
Lindsey Antonson made her return to action against San Francisco on Oct. 8 after a 705-day absence due to injury. Playing 26 minutes against the Dons, Antonson has seen her minutes total increase in the two games since then, spending 32 minutes on the pitch against San Diego before tallying two shots across 45 minutes played at Santa Clara on Saturday. On the year, she's now up to five shots across 103 minutes played.
MAKING A DIFFERENCE:
Megin Turi entered this season with nearly 3,000 minutes of game time across her first three seasons as a Beav, but as a senior in 2025, the Abbotsford, BC, Canada native has been a fixture, surpassing the 1,000-minute mark for the first time in a single season in her career. Playing multiple different positions, Turi has settled into a role on the Oregon State backline while starting each of the team's 14 games, tallying four shots (two on goal) while also serving as a team captain.
SENIOR SATURDAY:
Saturday's game against Pacific is senior day, and a pregame ceremony will honor Lindsey Antonson, Paola Figueroa, Emily Ibsen, Nathalie Mejia, Kassidy Michael, Madison Paolini, Mya Sanchez and Megin Turi, along with fifth-year players Carly Carraher, Rin Choi and Sawyer Service, who were recognized last year but chose to return for another season.
BEAVS IN THE PROS:
With Katie Godden (Charlton Athletic / England) and McKenna Martinez (Valadares Gaia / Portugal) each signing professional contracts after the conclusion of last season, Oregon State has officially sent six players into the professional ranks across the last four seasons. Led off by Laura Galceran and Bridgette Skiba in 2021, Reese Moffatt signed a deal in 2022 before Hailey Coll in 2023 and both Godden and Martinez in 2024.
In total, there are currently 10 former Beavers active in the professional ranks, playing in countries such as Portugal, Norway, Spain, England, Mexico and the United States; this list is highlighted by Bella Bixby (née Geist), who currently plays for the Portland Thorns of the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL), but also includes Kate Evans (West Brom), Emma Jones (Portsmouth) and Greta Espinoza (Tigres).
BACK THE PAC:
Oregon State will play its final season in the West Coast Conference this fall before returning to Pac-12 play in 2026. All eight of the conference's other members, Boise State, Colorado State, Fresno State, Gonzaga, San Diego State, Texas State, Utah State and Washington State, sponsor women's soccer, each bringing a high level of talent to the conference. Utah State is the reigning Mountain West Tournament Champion, also winning the conference tournament in 2023, while Boise State was crowned regular season champion in 2024 after San Diego State was crowned regular season champions the year prior. Texas State is coming off a 12-win season that ended with a 3-2 loss in the Sun Belt Championship while Gonzaga was picked to finish third in the WCC.
