
Pac-12 Championships Up Next for Beavers

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Once again, the road to the NCAA Championships starts in Corvallis inside Gill Coliseum. On Thursday, the best in the Pac-12 will battle it out for league crowns and automatic berths to Philadelphia for the Championships.
Nash Singleton (141) and fifth-ranked Ethan Stiles (149) were selected by the Pac-12 as top seeds in their weight classes while four – Maximo Renteria (125), CJ Hamblin (157), Kekana Fouret (165) and Murphy Menke (174) - earned two seeds. Trey Munoz (197), Damion Elliott (133) and Brett Mower (HWT) have been tabbed as three-seeds while TJ McDonnell (184) is seeded fourth.
Munoz will look to win his fourth consecutive Pac-12 championships but first at 197 following three at 184 lbs.

• He will start Thursday's action as the third seed in the 197-lb. bracket.
• He closed last season's NCAA Championships with a third-place finish.
• The Mission Viejo, Calif., native will be competing in Gill Coliseum for the final time on Thursday.
Coming onto the Scene in Stile(s)
• Ethan Stiles has made quite the splash in his first season at Oregon State.
• The redshirt freshman reeled off five consecutive wins to close the regular season, including against four ranked opponents.
• He was selected as the top seed in the 149-lb. division for Thursday's championships.
• The Chicago product was the only one to be named the Pac-12's Wrestler of the Week three times as well as win it at two weight classes.
• Stiles opened up the season on a six-match winning streak, which included an upset of then-#8 Teague Travis of Oklahoma State.
Regular Season Wrap
• The Beavers closed out a season with a tough slate of opponents nearly two weeks ago.
• Seven ranked opponents - including three in the top-four - faced OSU.
• Oregon State capped the season with wins in the last three, including an upset of #15 North Carolina on Senior Day.
Looking Ahead
• The NCAA Championships from Philadelphia's Wells Fargo Center are on the horizon for Oregon State.
• Oregon State sent eight to the event in 2011, the last time the Championships were held in the City of Brotherly Love.
• The Beavers have qualified at least five to the NCAAs in each season of the Pendleton era (2020/21-pres.). 2022 was the most, with eight qualifiers and four All-Americans.
