May 10, 2025 | Wrestling
CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State wrestler, Justin Rademacher, is continuing his summer competition in Monterrey, Mexico in tomorrow's Senior Pan American Championships in the 97 kg. division.
Fresh off his crown in the US Open last week in Las Vegas last month, he is returning to international competition and will open the Championships against Argentina's Ricardo Adrian Baez at approximately 12:15 p.m. PT.
Rademacher has been working closely under the direction of OSU assistant coach Cory Crooks ahead of the competition. "I'm excited for Justin to compete tomorrow," said Crooks. "This is a good experience for him, his first time being able to wrestle on the senior level outside of the States. He has really started to believe he can be the best in the world and has a great opportunity to go have fun and compete tomorrow."
Last summer, the West Linn, Ore., product made the United States' U-20 Freestyle World Team and competed in the US Open, where he had a runner-up finish. In 2024-25, he utilized a redshirt for the season but competed unattached in the Reno Tournament of Champions – where he won the 197-pound division on the way to being named the event's most outstanding wrestler.
