Bray Adds Defensive Coordinator Title
• Oregon State head coach Trent Bray is in his second season leading the program. The former Oregon State linebacker added the defensive coordinator title in the offseason.
• Bray is in his 11th season with the program, and took over as the team's defensive coordinator over the last four games of the 2021 season. He served as DC in both 2022 and 2023.
• Rod Chance, who coaches the secondary, will serve as Co-Defensive Coordinator.

• Gabarri Johnson is the lone returning quarterback for the Beavers, who threw for 2,417 yards as a team last season. Johnson threw for 174 yards, seven percent of the team's total.
• Eight Beavers who recorded at least one rush a season ago return in 2025. Those eight tallied 1,531 rush yards, accounting for 67.4 percent of the team's 2,270 from a year ago.
• Eight Beavers who caught one pass from last season return. Those eight account for 165 of the team's 216 (76.4 percent) from a year ago. They accounted for 1,750 of the 2,417 yards (72.4 percent) from a year ago.

• Oregon State has gone 13-4 in games played in August and September over the past four seasons. That includes a 3-1 mark last season, defeating Idaho State, San Diego State and Purdue with a loss to Oregon.
• The 2025 Beavers will have a good opportunity to build upon that note, playing nearly half of the team's schedule before the end of September. OSU hosts California, Fresno State and Houston, teams that went a combined 16-22 a year ago. The three were also a combined 5-12 away from home.

• Anthony Hankerson returns for his senior season after an outstanding first campain in Corvallis.
• The running back ran for 1,082 yards, which marked the 19th 1,000-yard season in Oregon State history. That tally put him at 37th nationally while his 232 carries on the year tied him for 17th.
• He also scored 15 rushing touchdowns, tying him for 18th. The 15 rushing scores were the most by a Beaver since Jacquizz Rodgers had 21 in 2009.
• Hankerson is the last Beaver to return to OSU after topping 1,000 yards since Jermar Jefferson in 2019. Jefferson had 1,380 yards in 2018.
• Hankerson is on the watch lists for the Maxwell Award, the Walter Camp Award and the Doak Walker Award.
